Circuit description
The Engine Oil Temperature/Level Sensor contains two resistors: One for engine oil temperature and one for engine oil level.

Conditions for diagnostic trouble code (DTC)
Abnormally high rate of change of the oil temperature sensor signal
Intermittent fault

Observable symptoms
High fuel consumption

Probable cause
1) Engine oil level (EOL) and temperature sensor
2) Engine wiring harness
3) Engine Control Module
