Volvo All Engines (2013 Emissions) Fault Code: P009664 PID: EMS Intake Air Temperature Sensor 2 Circuit Range/Performance (Bank 1)

Circuit description
The sensor signals are used to calculation fuel injection and is monitored by the Engine Control Module (ECM).
The engine control module (ECM) will set a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) and derate the engine to avoid engine damage if the sensor signal is not within predetermined limits, or the signal is not rational.

Conditions for diagnostic trouble code (DTC)
The sensor signal is not rational
Sensor value differs from estimated value

Observable symptoms
Power loss

Probable cause
1) Intake manifold air temperature (IMAT) and pressure sensor
2) Charge air cooler, Clogged or blocked air system
