DESCRIPTION:
Coolant outlet temperature not plausible.
MONITORED PARAMETER:
Coolant inlet and coolant outlet temperature sensors.
TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:
1. Engine speed 500-2500 rpm.
2. Coolant temperature is greater than 65C.
3. Battery voltage is 11 vDC.
4. Run engine less than 60s.

VERIFICATION:
Start engine, warm it up so that the coolant temperature is greater than 65C. Insure battery voltage is 11 vDC and engine has been running for at least 1 minute then bring engine to idle speed, being certain that it is greater than 500 RPM.
NOTE: If any other cooling system issues, repair those first.
PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. Engine cooling system thermostat failure.
2. Inlet and/or outlet coolant temperature sensor connector/harness.
3. Inlet and/or outlet coolant temperature sensor.
